Inspiration

Rivers Point

The Rivers Point home sits gracefully above the Columbia River and brings elements of water, stone, and Northwest native plants to an outdoor experience that feels calm and inviting.

Helensview

This project is a true piece of artwork and included exterior remodeling, hardscaping, and landscaping throughout the entire process. We gave the house a complete exterior facelift, all brand new landscaping and hard scape surfaces.

The Edge:

What began as a drawing on a napkin with a sharpie by GRO’s CXO, evolved into an entire transformation of the landscape and exterior of the home. With a pool and sport court in the scope of work, significant attention had to be taken to address these slopes and the need for an extensive retaining wall system.
Graceview:
Modern contemporary defines this home’s landscape. With the square architectural slabs and linear design, the modern farmhouse architecture is reflected in the landscape.
The Joella:
The use of natural materials in an otherwise modern design, creates cohesion with the Pacific Northwest landscape while adding more formal contemporary elements.
Black Pearl:
A dream come to life — The Black Pearl, brings a modern contemporary event space to the banks of the Columbia River. The landscape for this event space was strategically designed to provide multiple flexible outdoor gathering spaces that can be used for different types of events.
The Timberline:
From the river rock dry creek used in the front yard to the boulders placed naturally throughout the landscape, The Timberline captures natural elements of the Pacific Northwest.
Serenity (Street of Dreams 2018):
This client came to us with a vision of a modern Japanese style garden focused on the idea of creating tranquility and relaxation.
Lake View Estates:
This project was designed by a well known Portland designer, Michael Schultz. We worked directly with the designer to create a Mediterranean inspired landscape, revealing elegance and beauty.
Columbia Vista:
With magnificent views of the river and Mt. Hood, this client desired a grand entry with a design that offered both beauty and functionality.
Waters Edge:
For this project, the client wanted a modern, functional, and lower maintenance landscape that would blend in well with the NW landscape.
Hoodsview:
With 2 younger children, these clients wanted a putting green for the family to practice golf, in addition to a full sports court that could act as a source of evening entertainment with an overhead lighting system.
Palisades:
The client approached us with a vision to create a beautiful and secluded front entrance, while maintaining the backyard view.
H3O
At this beautiful property, the client desired a grand circular entryway to replace the existing bare lawn island.
Parade of Homes 2017
With a beautiful setting near the forest, this client opted for a seating area and fire pit, lawn installation, small water feature and a garden box to accentuate their NW setting.
Hidden Paradise
The client was dreaming of an outdoor oasis, complete with a pool and finished backyard, while also hoping to fix existing drainage issues. After going through the design process, the project expanded to an addition on the house, increasing the overall square footage and home value.
Whispering Pines
The client wanted a park where community members could relax, play and enjoy time with family and friends, while appreciating scenic views of the Cascade Mountain range.
